I’m very skeptical, however, that Vuescan or your scanner is capable of physically adjusting the scan time for each individual color CCD channel. You may want to do some tests to see what you like best. It really depends on which gives you the best end result after your ACR adjustments. As Bart mentioned, it doesn’t make much difference whether you save your scans in DNG or Tiff since both can be edited in ACR. It will also maximize resolution.īart already provided sound advice.
Always try and use the native resolution of the scanner for the best results, and then downsample if needed.
